an attempt at an honest reflection – a film by pascal klewer
dependency and detachment, and the question of one’s position in a system that presents itself as open, yet structurally often allows nothing in.
the feeling of constantly having to represent something, even when you no longer know if you are anything at all.
trumpets break, bodies freeze. monologues circle around themselves, repeat, shift. it is not an answer, not a statement, not a solution. more an exploration of empty spaces.
of stagnation, of anger, of questions like: who actually benefits from what? and: how much of that is me?
a montage of documentary material, staged body images, and urban spaces, filtered through depression.
