“theconsistencyofdestruction” researches structures, polyrhythms, density and sound(s) in their works. the music of the cologne-based band, consisting of the two bassists roger kintopf and florian herzog, the drummer leif berger, the pianist felix hauptmann and trumpeter pascal klewer, is on the borders of avantgarde, improvised music and contemporary music. the given and intensely rehearsed tunes, templates, patterns, presettings and concepts are continously researched, destroyed, questioned and reattached.
