my second album “am i?” as a singer-songwriter builds on “my natural shape” with a more focused, synth-driven sound. the short, direct songs explore mental health, estrangement, and the dismantling of toxic masculinity, blending vulnerable pop hooks with rhythmic experimentation.

in my first solo ep “my natural shape” i presented vulnerable and emotional song structures about struggles with mental health, trying to dismantle toxic masculinity from within oneself.

during my residency in istanbul with kunststiftung nrw, i collaborated with artist nadir sönmez on an intimate reading concert inspired by his “love letters to farid.” this ep “limerence” of four tracks captures themes of limerence, vulnerability, and obsession, and includes a reworked piece from my quintet theconsistencyofdestruction.

recorded during my residency at stiftung bartels in basel, “solo piano works.“ explores my non-classical approach to the piano as an extension of my trumpet practice. blending layered experiments, odd swing feels, and indie/pop sketches, the music offers a compact portrait of my current musical language.

this album reflects my shifting relationship with the trumpet during a period of depression and disconnection from the instrument. recorded in churches, during residencies, and within my exhibition space, the music moves between loneliness, fragility, and the search for renewed expression.

these four tracks grew out of my work on the ard documentary “moldau.” balancing my own sound with television storytelling, they remain pieces i connect with and want to share as part of finishing past projects.
